Ameena Sultan
Ameena Sultan practices exclusively in the areas of immigration and refugee law. She regularly appears before the Immigration and Refugee Board and the Federal Court and has experience in a broad range of immigration and refugee matters.
Ameena has over 15 years of experience as a lawyer, having practiced civil and administrative law at small prestigious law firms as well as in her own firm. In her practice, she has spoken and published widely on legal matters and was recognized by her peers in 2015 for her commitment to the practice of law.

Experience On Your Side
Ameena was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002. She obtained her law degree from McGill University where she graduated with distinction. Prior to attending law school, Ameena obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Toronto, where she also graduated with distinction. During her undergraduate studies, Ameena spent a year studying at the Arabic Language Institute at the American University in Cairo.
In addition to her legal practice, Ameena has a long history of active volunteering with community organizations that serve the needs of immigrants and refugees in Toronto.
